Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an appointment or can I walk in?

We are a walk-in clinic and generally see patients in order of arrival, however some patients may be prioritised depending on the extent of their injury. If you have a GP type concern or Workcover review, please present between 09:00 and 10:00 before the snowsports injuries start coming through the doors.

Do you treat common ski or sports injuries?

Yes, we provide assessments, treatment, and follow-up care for all snow and sports injuries no matter how minor or severe – from simple sprains, strains and twists through to multi-system trauma, displaced fractures, dislocations of all joints and complex lacerations. If we are unable to definitively manage your injury, we endeavour to stabilise it so that you can comfortably return home to an expert private surgeon or your local hospital.

Do you treat acute illnesses?

Yes we provide comprehensive assessments, treatment, and follow-up care for all acute illnesses including, but not limited to coughs, colds and sore throats, childhood illnesses, UTIs, sexual health and infectious diseases as well as forgotten scripts.

Can I get vaccinations at the clinic?

Yes, we offer routine, seasonal, and travel vaccines.

How much will my visit cost?

We are a private practice and do not Bulk Bill.  Payment is payable at time of consultation.

Most consults are eligible for Medicare rebates. However, patients will be charged a fee that is higher than the Medicare rebate for their consultation. Medicare will only cover part of the total cost and patients are required to claim their own rebate.

You will need a letter from your employer accepting your claim and a claim number.
